We all know and love the many popular trade fairs in Barcelona, the capital of many conferences and events, but now it’s our beloved Sitges‘ turn to shine! From the 80’s onwards Sitges has been a Mecca for LGBT tourism and well known throughout the gay community.
In the coming weeks we’ll be gearing up to celebrate Sitge’s trade fair, Fira Sitges, falling on the weekend of 20th-21st June, and coinciding with the town’s very own Pride! This is an absolute must-see for us and some 50,000 other visitors agree!
There will be two main areas at the fair: a zone for business stands and trading; and the Outlet & Market zone where prestigious brands will be displaying and selling their wares non-stop from 10am-8pm.
Why Outlet and Market?
- Outlet because visitors will have access to exclusive offers, promotions and discounts handed out by present companies
- Market because the fair’s format is purely commercial and offers a win-win proposition for both businesses and visitors alike
We love Fira sitges trade fair because it is different; it is open to all companies and professionals who wish to do business, purchase or discover new products, network a little or even just to enjoy themselves.
Throughout the weekend there will be several activities to enjoy such as: catwalks, product launches from prestigious brands, business meetings and parties, and all of this within the exclusive and relaxed atmosphere at the amazing Hotel Avenida Sofia Boutique&Spa .
Fira Sitges was born largely under the creative vision of many professionals who wanted to see a trade fair open to all types of business – original, innovative, unique, open-minded and entertaining, its motto is: ‘Fira Sitges is the fair conceived for you’.
Just remember that entry to the trade fair requires you to sign up in advance online and costs just €5 which will go towards charity or an organisation for social aid in the town.
Fira Sitges will be strongly present in social networking where there’ll be several competitions on promotion (we know you like those…) and we’ll be spreading the word on the Sitges’ brand “marca Sitges” as capital of the Mediterranean and so we urge you to follow the events on Facebook and Twitter.
If you would like to participate or learn more about the trade fair you can visit their website at: http://www.firasitges.com/
Even if you just happen to be at Sitges’ Pride 2015 and you’re curious to find out more, make sure to stop by that weekend, 20th-21st June, at Fira Sitges. We wouldn’t miss it for the world! Catch you there! ?
